Desmoid tumour

A growth, generally in the abdominal wall. The tumour feels hard and it arises most commonly in women whom have had children, conceivably due to stretching of abdominal muscles during the pregnancy. They can also occur at the site of old surgical incisions. Removal of the tumour is usual.
