Ileus, gallstone

The blockage of the small intestine by a gallstone that has travelled from the biliary tract.  Gallstone ileus is occasionally a complication of cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder).  Symptoms can include bloating, vomiting, lack of bowel movements, and extreme abdominal pain.  Surgery is often performed.  The gallbladder is usually removed at the same time according to allopathic medicine and this can cause extreme difficulties within your body whereby you body will be unable to metabolise fats easily and these fats can cause secondary diseases eg. Heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.
