Jargon aphasia

A type of aphasia (loss/lack of language skills) in which the affected person is unable to form grammatical sentences but pronounces meaningless phrases made up of jumbled words or neologisms (made-up words). Jargon aphasia can be due to a lesion in the dominant temporal lobe of the brain, or, hardly ever, can be a sign of schizophrenia.
