Livedo reticularis

A purple or blue, netlike mottling of the skin, often brought on by enlargement of blood vessels underneath the skin. It is more widespread in those people with vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels) and those people who suffer from extreme sensitivity to cold. The condition is not harmful, and seems to be worse in cold weather.
