Micturition syncope

A quick loss of consciousness that arises during or directly after passing urine, often when a person has got out of bed at night to urinate. The condition is more frequently seen in older men. It is suspected to result from a drop in blood pressure as the person gets up, along with changes in blood flow as the bladder empties.
