Night blindness

The incapacity to see well in a dim light. Majority of people with night blindness have no discernible eye disease. The condition can be an inherited functional defect of the retina (the light-sensitive inner layer at the back of the eye), an early sign of retinitis pigmentosa (degeneration of the light sensitive cells of the retina), or a result of vitamin A deficiency.
