Oculogyritis crisis

A state in which the eyes are fixed, generally upwards for hours or minutes or hours. The crisis can arise with muscle spasms of the mouth, tongue, and neck, and is usually triggered by stress. It can arise after encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) and in Parkinsonism (a movement disorder), or can be induced by drugs like phenothiazine derivatives.
