Angelica is a perennial or biennial plant and it grows on riverbanks, damp meadows, mountainous and coastal areas. It can grow up to 7 feet high. The leaves are pinnate and grow from a sheath that surround the stem and the flowers consist of compound umbels with a greenish-white colour.

Properties and Use:

Angelica can be used as an expectorant, stomachic, stimulant and appetizer. It stimulated kidney action and relieves muscle spasms. It is indicated for general weakness, nervous headache ad fever.
