Passion flower

This is an annual climbing woody vine that grows wild but it is also cultivated. It has palmate leaves with oblong serrate lobes and the flowers are axillary and grow solitary. They are white with a pink, violet or blue calyx crown.

Properties and Use

Passion flower is mostly used for headaches and nervous conditions. It also promotes perspiration.
