Rosemary
This is an evergreen plant that originates in the Mediterranean area. The whole plant has a greyish aspect with leathery, thick and narrow leaves that are shiny on top and whitish underneath. The flowers grow in blue or white racemes.
Properties and Use
Rosemary promotes liver function, has beneficial effects on the digestive system and it also increases the production of bile. It is also used for treating eczema, sores and rheumatism. Rosemary can be poisonous and it should only be taken with medical advice.
